A couple more good things about Halloween
Well, okay. It is sort of fun to feel the excitement in the air as the witching hour approaches. And some of the kids are awfully cute. Especially (ahem!) these three:
Overheard . . .
Trick-or-treating kid #1: "Look, Bush lies!"
Trick-or-treating kid #2: "Duh!"
And here's another treat, courtesy of my artistic brother-in-law, who carved front middle and it's frightened neighbor:
Overheard . . .
Trick-or-treating kid #1: "Look, Bush lies!"
Trick-or-treating kid #2: "Duh!"

Brilliant. That pumpkin is simply brilliant. As is trick-or-treater #2.

Instead of the middle pumpkin we have a lovely Impeach Bush sign on our front lawn. Much to my very conservative father's chagrin.
Love trick-or-treating kid #4, obviously from Ann Arbor.
And the kids? So cute!

I'm so out of it. I was sitting here trying to figure out what a lying bus was. Obviously I am from the politically naive west coast. Not that I didn't know he does, it just didn't immediately occur . . . oh, whatever.
Cute scared pumpkin, cutey kids.

Fine looking kids, and that last costume is mega-scary, but not nearly as scary as seeing the word "Bush" on a pumpkin. LOL!

Yay for that middle one. I have the tools somewhere, but haven't carved pumpkins for 10 years (halloween is in late spring here - no orange pumpkins around) - we did some for the Queen's Birhtday weekend (first weekend in June once) which was great...

Am I missing something? What's up with the spiky multicolored hat? Or am I just being a goob (or a Bushie...same thing)?
